The LEAD Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization associated with the Merck & Co. Inc., League of Employees of African Descent (LEAD), an Employee Resource Group. The LEAD Scholarship Foundation, formerly known as The Merck Black Employees’ Network (BEN) Scholarship Foundation, Inc., was founded in a 501(c)3 organization April 1, 2005.
